The EPS (Entrapment Protection System) provides protection for people in the vicinity of the automated window area, especially for children or people with limited attention and reaction time, particularly with accessible windows or with automatic control without visual contact.

The infrared active sensor or another presence sensor sends a signal to the control unit in the event of a foreign presence; the EPS system reverses the closing movement for 3 seconds to free any objects or body parts trapped in the window and then stops the power supply to the drive.The EPS can also emit a visual and acoustic signal if the presence sensor intervenes; it is also possible to resume the closing action as soon as the foreign presence disappears. It is possible to connect several drives and/or sensors to the control unit;
