Aumüller CO₂ Air Quality Sensor for Ventilation Controls (483710)

The Aumüller CO₂ Air Quality Sensor 483710 continuously monitors the carbon dioxide concentration in indoor air and can be used to implement demand-controlled natural window ventilation.

The sensor connects to the ventilation switch input of a compatible Aumüller SHEV or ventilation control unit and provides control pulses depending on the detected CO₂ concentration.

Demand-controlled window ventilation

Increasing CO₂ levels indicate a growing need for ventilation in occupied rooms. The electronic sensor measures carbon dioxide concentrations over a range of 0 to 3,000 ppm CO₂.

This allows electric window ventilation to respond to indoor air conditions instead of relying exclusively on manual ventilation switches.

Three LED indicators

The sensor provides two normally open (NO) contacts with a pulse duration of 3.5 seconds. The maximum switching capacity is 230 V AC / 0.5 A.

The signals are designed for connection to the ventilation switch input of compatible Aumüller SHEV and ventilation control units.

This makes the sensor a useful addition to automated window systems where ventilation should respond to actual indoor air conditions.
