The Aumüller Smart Vent Box 0–10 V (SVB 0–10 V) provides analogue position control for Aumüller 24 V DC window actuators with S12 electronics. An external 0–10 V control signal can be used to specify the required window position, making the module particularly suitable for integration into automated ventilation and building control systems.

Analogue window position control

The required actuator position is defined by the analogue input signal. 0 V represents the CLOSED position, while 10 V represents the OPEN position.

This allows the window opening to be controlled by an external system, for example depending on room temperature, indoor air quality or another building automation parameter.

A dedicated feedback output can provide a signal when the position requested via the 0–10 V input has been reached.

External priority signal

In addition to the analogue input, the module provides a separate input for an external higher-level signal. This can be used, for example, for a rain sensor or another overriding closing command.

The ventilation strategy can therefore be integrated into a wider automated system while retaining an overriding input for weather protection or other control requirements.

Designed for Aumüller S12 actuators

The Smart Vent Box works directly with the intelligent S12 electronics of compatible Aumüller actuators. During commissioning, the relevant actuator data is detected using the integrated learning function.

The actuator speed can be adjusted within the parameters stored in the S12 actuator. Integrated status and fault indicators assist during commissioning and operation.

Difference between SVB Flex and SVB 0–10 V

The SVB Flex (660110) is primarily intended for simple digital OPEN/CLOSE operation with locally adjustable ventilation settings.

The SVB 0–10 V (660120) is the appropriate solution when an external controller needs to specify the window position using an analogue 0–10 V signal. It also provides a feedback output for signalling when the requested position has been reached.
