The Aumüller Smart Vent Box Flex (SVB Flex) is a compact control module for operating 24 V DC Aumüller window actuators with S12 electronics in natural ventilation applications. It provides digital OPEN and CLOSE control while adding convenient adjustment options directly at the installation.

One of the main advantages of the SVB Flex is that the required ventilation position and opening speed can be configured directly on the module without programming the control unit.

Adjustable ventilation opening

The required OPEN position can be adjusted from 10 mm up to the maximum stroke configured in the connected actuator. This makes it possible to limit the opening width during everyday ventilation without changing the actuator's basic configuration.

The ventilation speed can also be adjusted within the speed range stored in the connected S12 actuator, allowing the movement of the window to be adapted to the requirements of the installation.

Local switch and external control signal

The module provides a dedicated connection for a ventilation switch as well as an input for an external higher-level signal. The latter can be used, for example, to integrate a rain sensor or another external control function.

An integrated test button simplifies commissioning and allows the actuator function to be checked directly during installation.

With dimensions of only 40.5 × 48.5 × 28.3 mm, the module is suitable for installation in an appropriate 60 mm flush-mounted box.

Suitable for new and existing S12 systems

The Smart Vent Box Flex can be used to extend or retrofit ventilation installations with Aumüller S12 actuators. It can be integrated into systems with a ventilation or SHEV control unit as well as installations using a suitable 24 V power supply.

In a SHEV activation, the Smart Vent Box function is bypassed via polarity reversal and the actuator operates according to the parameters stored directly in the actuator.
