The Aumüller Smart Vent Box KNX (SVB KNX) provides a direct interface between Aumüller 24 V DC window actuators with S12 electronics and KNX building automation systems.

The compact retrofit module makes it possible to incorporate automated natural window ventilation into an existing or newly designed KNX installation.

KNX integration for automated window ventilation

Operating and control functions for the connected actuator group can be integrated into the KNX building automation system. Individual settings and operating options are configured using the ETS KNX software.

This allows natural window ventilation to form part of a wider building automation strategy together with other KNX components and functions.

Combine building automation with local control

An optional ventilation switch can be connected directly to the SVB KNX in addition to the KNX bus connection.

This allows central automation to be combined with convenient local window operation. The ventilation switch can be used for direct control or incorporated into the information exchanged through the KNX system.

Compact retrofit solution for S12 actuators

The Smart Vent Box KNX has been developed as a retrofit control module for compatible Aumüller S12 actuator systems.

Automatic teach-in is performed at the push of a button without additional programming steps at the actuator. An integrated test function also simplifies commissioning and functional checks.

With dimensions of only 40.5 × 48.5 × 28.3 mm, the module can be installed discreetly close to the window and actuator.

The SVB KNX (660140) is designed specifically for projects where Aumüller S12 window actuators are to become part of a KNX building automation system.
