JET M12, VELUX M12 and VELUX 3MJ 230
When replacing an actuator, the designation on the existing unit is a useful starting point. The following M12 product pages provide details of the versions offered:
- JET M12 Type 74041 – 230 V, 300 mm stroke, 500 N
- VELUX M12 – 230 V, 300 mm stroke, 500 N
- VELUX 3MJ 230 – 230 V, 300 mm stroke, 500 N
Compare the mounting arrangement and technical specifications as well as the model designation. Different versions within an actuator family are not automatically interchangeable.
JOFO actuators for rooflights and roof vents
JOFO JM-series actuators provide additional options with different strokes, mounting connections and cut-off functions. Depending on the model, electrical position indication options also vary. Refer to the specifications on the individual product page.
Choosing the right rooflight actuator
- Supply voltage: check compatibility with the existing power supply and control system.
- Stroke and dimensions: match the required opening and available installation space.
- Push and pull forces: select a model suitable for the rooflight or roof vent.
- Mounting: compare upper and lower connections, pin dimensions and existing brackets.
- Cut-off and feedback: check the required functions and existing wiring.
